Application Instructions:

Measurement and Preparation: Start by measuring the window you want to apply the film to. Always add a few extra centimetres for safety, which you can then cut away. Make sure the window is clean and dry as any dust or dirt can cause bubbles under the film.

Cutting the foil: Once you have the measurements, cut the foil to the correct size. It is better if the foil overhangs the edge of the window by a few inches, as this will allow for more accurate placement.

Soapy water application: soapy water is used to allow the foil to be moved and adjusted until it is in the correct position. You can use a spray bottle filled with water and a little soap and spray this evenly on the glass.

Applying the film: remove the protective layer from the film and start carefully applying it to the window from the top corner downwards. You can use a trowel or credit card to smooth the film and remove air bubbles.

Adjustments and Finish: After applying the film, use the blade of a knife to accurately trim excess film around the edges of the window. Continue to smooth the foil until all air bubbles are removed.

Drying: Allow the film to dry for several hours or even days. During this period, small bubbles may appear to form under the foil, but this is normal and these should disappear as the foil dries.
