Platform Operator: U Z O Portal, registered number 996224, located at 2902 Marina Plaza, Dubai Marina, Al Marsa St, Dubai, Level 27-29, DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.
European Legal Representative: UZO EU Payments & Representative a.s., registered number 09939407, located at Na Folimance 2155/15, Vinohrady (Prague 2), 120 00 PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC.
These Terms set forth the rules and regulations governing your access to and use of the following:
- The website located at uzo.com, along with any other websites owned or controlled by UZO or their parts (collectively referred to as the "Website"),
- Our mobile application "UZO" (the "Application", collectively with the Website and all means, features, functionalities, or services provided through the Website and/or Application, hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"),
- Content found on the Website and/or in the Application ("Content"), and
- Customer support related to the Content (including refunds).
Before using the Platform or registering an account, we encourage you to thoroughly review these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using our services or registering on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.
UZO reserves the right to update or terminate the Platform (or any part of it) in response to technological advancements or other factors. Furthermore, UZO reserves the right to change the Terms at any time; however, such changes will apply only to future transactions on the Platform and will not affect your current use of the Platform.
If you do not agree with these or any subsequent Terms, we kindly request that you refrain from using (or continuing to use) the Platform. UZO may also provide additional services or features under separate terms and conditions at its discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact UZO Support at support@uzo.com.
2. UZO's Role in Transactions with You
UZO operates as an online platform that enables sellers to showcase and sell their products. UZO is not the seller of any goods presented on the site. UZO facilitates transactions between you, the customer, and the individual sellers who use our platform. When you place an order on the site, you are entering into a purchase agreement directly with the seller, not with UZO. Any rights you have regarding the purchased product are solely against the sellers from whom you purchased the product and not against UZO. UZO is not responsible for the quality, safety, morality, or legality of the products offered by the sellers.
All sellers presented on the site are merchants (legal entities or their equivalents according to the laws governing them). As a result, you and your contract with the seller are subject to EU consumer protection laws or the legislation of other countries.
Please note that UZO has no control over the quality, safety, morality, or legality of any aspect of the products, the truthfulness or accuracy of product listings, or the sellers' ability to sell products - sellers are ultimately responsible for these aspects.
The contact details of the seller from whom you purchased or intend to purchase a product can be found on the product page. The seller is solely responsible for the validity and accuracy of the contact details they display on the product pages. If you cannot reach the seller using the provided contact details, please inform us at support@uzo.com.
UZO acts as a commercial agent for sellers within the parameters set out in their agreement, including the authority and right to negotiate and conclude transactions on behalf of sellers through the site, determine the final price of products listed on the site, and (at UZO's sole discretion) assist sellers in handling and processing buyers' claims for refunds and warranties. UZO does not act as your commercial agent.
Please note that the price at which a product is offered to you may be personalized based on an automated decision-making process and may therefore differ from prices presented to other users.
UZO does not offer payment services - it simply acts as an agent for the sellers for the purpose of receiving payments on behalf of the sellers and disbursing amounts owed to the sellers in connection with transactions conducted by you and the sellers on the site. UZO has the authority to select payment service providers ("PSPs") who are responsible for carrying out all necessary actions related to payment, acceptance, acquisition, processing, and servicing of payments associated with transactions between the sellers and you. UZO reserves the right to appoint any number of PSPs.
You may be entitled to request a refund. A refund usually refers to the cancellation of a payment made by you, either in whole or in part, by the card issuer at your request or at the request of the acquirer/another payment service provider according to the applicable rules of the payment system.
UZO is financially responsible for refunds to sellers and for this purpose handles disputes regarding refunds between customers (cardholders) and sellers. Refunds related to customers and associated with the risk of fraud will be thoroughly investigated by UZO and the payment service providers in accordance with their mutual contractual obligations.
Your payment obligation to the seller is considered fulfilled from the moment UZO (or its PSP, if applicable) receives the payment. UZO (through its PSP, if applicable) is then responsible for transferring the funds to the sellers as stipulated in the agreements between UZO, the seller, and the PSP. If UZO (through its PSP) does not transfer such amounts to the seller, the seller's claim will only be against UZO (or its PSP, if applicable) and not directly against you.
UZO accepts your payments on behalf of the seller and we also commit to refunding you any money you may be entitled to on behalf of the seller. Whether there is a valid claim for a refund is primarily determined by the seller. In some limited cases, however, we may decide to issue a refund and seek to recover this amount from the seller. Your payment will be processed by U Z O Portal or the EU legal representative company UZO EU Payments & Representative a.s. and will be forwarded by us to the respective seller(s) as settlement of your debt to the individual sellers for purchases made through the service. These instructions may be changed from time to time, with or without your notice. You acknowledge and agree that these instructions will form an integral part of these terms of use.
3. Termination
UZO reserves the right to terminate your access to the site and/or your registration rights if you violate these Terms or violate any law (e.g., infringing our or third-party intellectual property rights, using a stolen credit card for payments on the site, or violating other laws). If UZO terminates your rights to use the site, UZO still retains the right to assert additional rights and legal remedies if there are claims, damages, awards, costs, and/or liabilities resulting from or associated with your violation or offense.
4. Privacy Policy
To understand our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of data about you (commonly referred to as personal data), please take a moment to review our Privacy Policy. For privacy-related requests or additional information, please contact us at privacy@uzo.com.

- Before completing an order, you will inform UZO if you are acting as a business entity and not as a consumer. By default, we consider you a natural person and consumer in line with the purpose and operation of the site.
- You will provide an accurate and valid delivery address. We rely on this information to ensure the correct calculation and application of taxes and duties. The delivery address you provide must be the place where you will receive the product and where the product shipment ends. By placing an order on the site, you confirm that the address you provide is complete, valid, and accurate.
- You will refrain from defrauding any person or entity using the site (e.g., using stolen credit/debit cards).

- You will not engage in any scheme that disrupts the integrity of the data, systems, or networks used by UZO and/or the site, or gain unauthorized access to these data, systems, or networks.
- You will not obtain, use, or attempt to copy, reproduce, exploit, or misuse our API unless UZO has approved it for a specific purpose.
7. Communication
By accepting these Terms, you grant us permission to contact you via email (if provided), mobile phone (if provided), or other methods through the Site, including push notifications.
We will send you notices regarding the use of the Site, security, or other issues related to the Site, as well as promotional messages. You can change your communication preferences at any time by adjusting your personal settings or sending a request to privacy@uzo.com. Please note that you cannot opt-out of receiving service messages from us, including security notices and legal notifications, as these messages are not marketing in nature.
UZO reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, reject, modify, or remove all or part of any posts, submissions, or content that violates these Terms.
By using the Site or communicating with UZO or others through your access to the Site, you agree to receive communications from UZO, including emails, text messages, or messages on social networks and other online, mobile, or conventional methods, as they exist now or may exist in the future. You also agree not to misuse the communication tools available through your access to the Site, including spamming, spoofing, sending unsolicited commercial or other messages, and generally sending content that violates these Terms.
8. Ownership
The Site, along with all its components and features, Content, and all intellectual property rights included in or associated with it, such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade names, logos, and know-how, are either owned by UZO or owned by third parties and licensed to us. All rights, claims, and interests regarding the items mentioned in this paragraph remain with us or our licensors. Additionally, you must not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights notice or legend contained on the Website, in the Application, or in the Content.
You must access the Site only through the interface provided by UZO via the Site.
Refrain from using any part of UZO’s intellectual property or content: your use of the Site or any part of it does not grant you any right, license, or permission of any kind to reproduce or use such intellectual property and/or content of UZO.
9. Consequences of Your Feedback and Submitted Content
UZO appreciates your feedback submitted via designated email addresses for specific purposes. However, if you submit, publish, or upload to the website, application, or any part thereof:
- Any feedback, messages, or comments,
- Your creative or original concepts or ideas,
- Any content, data, text, photographs, graphics, or other materials, or
- Any confidential, proprietary, or other information (hereinafter referred to as "submitted content"),
you declare and guarantee to UZO that you are either the owner of the Submission or have the right to grant UZO the license stated below.
You agree that UZO will not compensate you for such a license or Submission other than by providing you with the opportunity to use the Site, that such a Submission will not be considered confidential or non-public after it is submitted to UZO, and that only UZO may disclose or use all or any part of the Submission. If all or part of the Submission is disclosed or used through the Site, you agree that the Submission and its content become publicly available and may be used by others.
By providing a Submission to UZO via the website, application, or otherwise:
- You agree not to submit any Submission that violates these Terms in any way or contains inappropriate content as defined below.
- You automatically grant UZO a worldwide, unlimited, irrevocable, transferable, assignable, sublicensable license to use the Submission and exercise all copyright, publicity, and other rights related to any such Submission for the duration of the copyright, including any legal extensions, for any reason.
- You assume responsibility for any such use of the Submission through the Site and release UZO from liability and protect it from any third-party claims against UZO arising from such use of the Submission.
You also grant each user of the Site a worldwide non-exclusive license to access your Submission through the Site and to use, reproduce, collect, distribute, share, display, and perform such Submission as permitted through the Site and under these Terms, for the duration of the copyright, including any legal extensions, for any reason.
10. Linking and Third-Party Content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not under our control or operation. UZO or users may provide such links solely for your convenience. UZO is not responsible for and has no control over the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. The websites and/or applications may contain messages, advertisements, content, images, and information published by various third-party providers. The use of any such third-party content may be subject to the terms of these third parties. You are solely responsible for protecting yourself, your device, and your systems from worms, viruses, trojans, and any other harmful content.
You may link to our main page, provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement on our part where none exists, and you must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you. The website from which you are linking must comply in all respects with our content standards at the time.
Our site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our site other than the main page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
11. Copyright Infringement
We respect the rights of artists and content owners, therefore UZO carefully reviews notifications of potential infringements.
If you believe that your protected works have been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on UZO, please inform UZO's copyright agent at copyright@uzo.com. When submitting your report, please provide the following information:
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on UZO.
- Information sufficient to allow UZO to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

12. Ranking and Search Results
The Site offers you the ability to search for specific products on the Site. When you specify keywords in your search, you will be presented with results that match your search query. The main parameters determining the ranking can be found on the page with the search query field. The algorithm selects the most relevant product matching your search query based on factors such as product name and description, category, various options, and country of origin.
The algorithm also considers factors like product popularity, number of reviews and ratings, your country, price, and your history on the site to rank products from most relevant to less relevant. Among the search results, you may see products marked with a "AD" badge, which means that the seller has paid for higher placement. The total number of products marked with "AD" in the search results will not exceed 40% of the total number of products selected by the algorithm.
13. Sales, Customs, and Taxes (including VAT)
We strongly encourage all sellers and customers to comply with applicable customs and tax obligations. Purchases on the UZO site may be subject to specific sales, customs, or tax charges that you will need to pay. When ordering through the UZO site, you act as the importer of goods and are required to comply with all laws and regulations of the country to which you are ordering products.
Prices displayed on our site include applicable VAT and other taxes. These amounts may be adjusted after entering your delivery address. Additional costs, such as customs fees, may apply to your orders.
For more information on customs and tax obligations, please see here.
14. Warranty
You are entitled, according to the legislation of your place of residence, to a statutory warranty of conformity for the received product and a statutory warranty against hidden defects. This means that for a limited period, you have the right to request one of the following measures from the seller: repair the product, replace the product, reduce the price, or cancel the contract and receive a full refund of the price paid for the product.
If the seller offers a commercial warranty (which must be more advantageous than the statutory warranties mentioned above) and after-sales services, you have the right to request the provision of such a commercial warranty from the seller under conditions freely determined by the seller and indicated on the product card of the ordered product. Statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects apply independently of the commercial warranty that may cover your product, as set out by the seller.
15. How to Shop
Shopping on the UZO website is easy:
- Select a product, choose the variant (color, size, packaging option).
- Click the "Add to Cart" button.
- Choose the quantity (default quantity is 1).
- Click the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
- Enter your personal details and delivery information.
- Review the details and confirm your order.
- Enter your credit card details (card details are encrypted and processed by the banking system).
Please note that the order creation process may vary. When paying, use the services of the designated payment service provider (PSP). If you do not wish to proceed with the available PSPs, cancel your order.
The seller will receive information about your order one hour after the payment is made. During this time, you can also request a cancellation.
It usually takes 1-2 days for the seller to process your order, although exact shipping and delivery times may vary. If the seller does not ship the order within 14 calendar days, the order will be automatically canceled, and the money will be refunded to your card.
16. Refund Policy. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to request a full refund from the seller within the following time frames:
- 5 days from delivery – the refund period starts from the day of delivery, even if the product was delivered late.
- 15 days from the latest delivery date, if the product was not delivered.
- You decide to exercise your right of withdrawal.
The UZO support team can help and assess refund requests within a limited time. If you wish to return a product, you should send it back to the seller. If the product is defective or incorrect, you will be compensated for documented return costs by the seller. In other cases, you bear the return costs.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact UZO at suppport@uzo.com or the seller directly.
You must return the goods to the seller within 14 days from the date of notifying the withdrawal. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. You may also be held liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling, except for necessary steps to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods. In the event of withdrawal within 14 days from the delivery of the goods, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise specified. The seller is not obliged to compensate for the return shipping costs, as this is in accordance with EU legislation. DO NOT send the goods back to UZO unless explicitly requested by the seller.
Exemptions from the right of withdrawal include custom-made or personalized products, products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, unsealed products unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, products inseparably mixed with other items after delivery, opened sound or video recordings or computer software, and newspapers, periodicals, or magazines (except subscription contracts).
