This kit is designed for both amateur and professional use for larger garages but also small car repairers. It is intended mainly for newer models, i.e. from 1997 onwards. Older vehicles in most cases had a different diagnostic socket and need to use the reducers included in this kit. It is possible to completely diagnose all control units of VW group models (Skoda, Audi, Seat, Volkswagen, Ford Galaxy) from about 1997. Vehicles of other brands can be diagnosed using the OBD, OBD-II, EOBD standard. The VAG-COM diagnostic software contains all the basic functions used in the diagnosis of "concern" vehicles such as: reading and deleting faults, reading values, testing actuators, coding, etc.

Updates to the VAG-COM software are usually made twice a year. The price of updates varies from 0,- to 700,- (updates are not mandatory to buy) depending on the content of the update and the user downloads it from his user account which he receives when buying the product, this ensures the customer permanent access to the purchased programs.
